For the first time in a very long time I saw a red carpet hair style that I couldn’t wait to re-create thanks to Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Her hair was simple, but not boring and a style that I can easily achieve when I’m crunched for time (assuming my hair has been more or less straightened…). All you have to do is straighten your hair (don’t forget to apply a heat protecting spray – my go-to is Oribe’s Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray because it’s not only effective, but smells great and cuts down on blow drying time), part your hair to the side, take a piece and twist it along the hairline until the temple and then create a small roll, placing a pin for security. Keep it in place (and height in tact), with some hairspray (again Oribe is a go-to; I love Superfine Hair Spray because it gives hold without the stiffness). Sweep your hair how you’d like it to stay (i.e. over one shoulder like Rosie or behind), and once again spray with a touch of hairspray to keep it in place. If you’re prone to frizz or in a humid climate apply an anti-frizz cream as well.
