For the most part I feel the same way about 2-in-1 top/base coat as I do about 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner – they don’t work. Case and point Perfect Formula Manicure Booster ($18). I so so so wanted to love this product because the brush is awesome. It’s long and the formula goes on smooth; it’s also pretty fast-drying. Unfortunately I tried this twice – once over and under Butter London polish and once over and under OPI. Both of those brands usually last long on my nails when I use my usual Deborah Lippmann top and base coats, but both times my manicure chipped within two days when I used the Manicure Booster.

Everyone’s nail chemistry is different so I’m curious if anyone else has tried this because this product has gotten overwhelmingly positive feedback from others. Also if you have a 2-in-1 top/base coat that you think is great, please do share it in the comments!
