Paula's Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover

I’ve been struggling to find a good eye makeup remover. I tried out one from Melvita and one from Vichy, both of which were gentle (i.e. no redness or irritation, two things I’m prone to), but they were ineffective at getting rid of my mascara, shadow, and liner even after multiple wipes with cotton balls (and none of my current eye makeup products are waterproof). On the opposite spectrum I tried Dermablend’s Longwear Makeup Remover and it was so harsh that not only did it sting when I used it, but my eyes were red on the sides the next day. I’ve also tried using wipes, but I need something creamy or fluid to really get rid of every last inch of makeup…finally I’ve found an effective product! I was given a sample of Paula’s Choice Gentle Touch Makeup Remover ($12.95) to try out and it doesn’t require more than a few swipes back and forth to gently remove all of my makeup. It’s gentle enough in fact that you can use it all over your face to remove foundation, lipstick, and blush and it’s formulated to alleviate puffiness.

It’s one of the only eye removers that I’ve tried that are both non-irritating and effective. It’s fragrance free (fragrance is what causes most eye irritations), and as a bonus you can use it as a spot treatment if you accidentally get makeup on your clothing.
