Laura Mercier Arabesque Collection: Ballet Beauty

Laura Mercier Arabesque Collection

After the harsh neon hues of late, this is a welcome change! A new year calls for a fresh start, and Laura Mercier’s limited edition Arabesque Collection is just that. The products are light and airy, just the way I like my makeup, and will flatter your face as it is, rather than try to change the landscape of your features. Inspired by the softness and sweetness of ballet (hence the dance move moniker), this collection is defined by pinks, neutrals, and just a touch of blue. The whole line is completely precious, but the must-have for me is the Free Spirit baked eye color palette ($48). Containing the most pigments in the collection, the semi-matte shades range from pink tutu to satin ribbon (surprisingly, a brown) to blue zen. The creme smooth lip color ($26) also looks tempting and velvety – it’s the perfect pale pink lipstick. And you can top it off with the lip glace (at Neiman Marcus for $24) or stain (at Neiman Marcus for $20), both of which are already available. To get a dancer’s glow without the workout, apply some of Laura’s crème cheek color (at Neiman Marcus for $22) in oleander. Line your eyes in the limited edition stone gray pencil ($20) and brush on some faux lash mascara (at Neiman Marcus for $24). All you need now is a light coat of pink en pointe nail lacquer ($18), and you’re ready to take the stage! Full collection to be available at Laura Mercier in January.
