Best New Beauty Launch of 2012

Why is it that all of the best things are discovered by accident? Restorsea’s founder Patricia Pao was on a chance trip to a Norwegian hatchery when she realized that she had found the fountain of youth (I’m exaggerating just a touch, but this is as close as we’re getting, ladies!). She saw the power of salmon egg enzymes and captured it in her moisturizers to gently slough away dead skin cells, leaving a glow like no other. I seriously want to bathe in the stuff! The company sent me a sample a few months ago, and I’ve been using it religiously ever since. The rejuvenating day cream ($150) leaves your skin immediately feeling like velvet and just a little oily – but in the best way possible. It’s so good that I use it at night, too, and on my neck and chest – an expensive habit, but the smoothing results have been 100% worth it. And the revitalizing eye cream ($85) has become just as much of an essential for me – great for keeping ultra-sensitive, thin skin bright and plump. Have you tried the creams? If you have, let me know what you think, but if you haven’t, head over to Bergdorf Goodman store asap! Don’t even think about starting 2013 without a jar or two or three of Restorsea.

I’ve been using the eye cream for two months now, and it’s the only eye cream that’s ever made a major difference, actually eliminating most of the fine lines I had. I want to try the face cream now, but I do have oily skin and my pores clog easily, so I’m a little hesitant. Also, Restorsea sent me a card thanking me for the purchase and one for New Year’s. I think this is an awesome company with an awesome product!
