Nails Inc’s leather effects nail polish hasn’t even been released yet, but there’s already a waiting list of almost 900! What caused this quick-burning firestorm? Just one little tweet from Alexa Chung. The fashion trailblazer wore the sexy polish to the British Fashion Awards, where she won her third style award! Between her undeniable style influence (I’m convinced she can sell out anything – even fuzzy neon-hued toilet covers) and the current popularity of leather in the fashion world, this Twitter trend is sure to turn into a beauty trend (though I’m not so sure if that’s a good thing). The limited edition Bling It On polish is available in black, red, and cream, and even comes with four crystal skull embellishments. It paints on glossy but quickly turns into a leather-textured matte as it dries. I’m always a little cautious of how well special effects polishes will turn out, I am not completely sold on this as the last go around I had with matte nail polish didn’t turn out well. But I won’t judge until the polish is actually on my digits. What about you, what do you think?
