I’m always trying to minimize the number of products I use. It can be a real drain on time to pile so many on, which is why I love tinted moisturizers. Moisturizer, color, and SPF all in one! Lately, I’ve been using Hourglass’s ivory-tinted lotion. I agreed with Beauty Snob Sharon when she said that the Hourglass Mineral Veil primer was the best product in the world, but that’s now been eclipsed for me by this dreamy dew. Primer is essential when you use foundation, but I don’t wear foundation on most days. I prefer a sheer layer, and that’s where my love of tinted moisturizer comes from. I’ve tried a million, but this one is special because of its silky consistency and the instantly plumped up skin you get. It makes you look very youthful! If you absolutely insist on complete coverage, then stick with the whole primer/foundation ordeal. But I honestly don’t need anymore than this even on nights out, so try to leave the two-step for the dance floor (or photo shoots!). Lighter layers are better for keeping your skin clear anyway.
