Real-Life Japanese Anime: Living Doll?
By Beauty Snob Tina
October 5, 2012

Is this really happening? Hard to believe, but this is an actual photo of a real-life girl (not Photoshopped) who has turned herself into a Japanese Anime doll! Excuse my French, but WTF?!?!?! I’m actually kind of frightened by this.

Nineteen-year-old Ukranian Anastasiya Shpagina, a.k.a. the Flower Fairy (a self-appointed title), spends up to 30 minutes doing makeup on each eye to make them resemble the giant, heavily lashed peepers of her favorite cartoon characters. Sailor Moon’s mortal doppelganger is also considering plastic surgery to make her eyes more doll-like, permanently. Even weirder is that her mother encourages this and accompanies her on interviews for looking like a freak. Don’t try this at home, kids, but here is her tutorial on how to achieve the same look (minus the obvious nose job).
