Lady Gaga Fame Eau de Parfum Spray: Bad Romance?
By Beauty Snob Tina
August 31, 2012

I love Gaga for all her crazy antics, but do I want to smell like Gaga? After receiving her new fragrance collection, I’m going to have to say, “No.” The packaging is quite chic and the black lotion (literally, black) is ingenious. Any fears of it turning my skin black were dispelled, as the lotion rapidly absorbed into transparency. However, the scent was so strong (like mind-numbingly strong) that I developed a headache just as quickly. It doesn’t smell bad; it is just SO strong.

Jasmine and tiger orchidea florals have been combined with a potent incense undertone, along with bold notes of honey and apricot (did I mention this is a very STRONG fragrance?). This black magic is memorable, like Gaga herself. And just like her style, it’s not for everyone. If you like a scent that lasts even after two showers, this is the one for you. At Sephora for $55.

If you want to try for yourself, we are giving a bottle of the dark potion away!
To win: Retweet #SnobGiveaway, and we will announce winner on August 31st.

I spritzed this on at the mall the other day after reading reviews of people saying what a unique scent it is. The color is unique and that’s about it. I agree with you that it’s strong – but on me it still smells just like a dozen other fragrances out there.

I agree with your review – I sampled the fragrance at Ulta the other day and almost gagged. Definitely not for everyone.

Her little monsters will buy into anything she churns out, first the headphones, now a perfume range… its like a conveyor belt of Gaga goodies… kerching!!
