I’m on the go most days and I don’t let myself go more than 90 minutes without lathering on SPF when it’s sunny out so I’m grateful that powder sunscreen has become increasingly popular. Colorescience has a great lightweight, sheer mineral powder with broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection ($50). It comes in SPF 30 and 50 and is offered in three different shades each with matte or shimmer finish (for a total of six options). I’m partial to a little shimmer for summer, especially because that means I can weigh my skin down with less products by opting to skip my highlighting and pressed powder. The self-dispensing brush is super easy to use and the formula is more or less weightless and chemical-free. Better yet, because this isn’t a chemical sunscreen it works instantly to protect skin and, as I mentioned before, can double as makeup/be used to set your makeup/rid oil and shinny spots.
