Shiseido Limited-Edition Eudermine Revitalizing Essence: Age Before Beauty
By Beauty Snob Tina
April 19, 2012

Can you believe Shiseido has been making skincare products for 140 years?! With age comes wisdom, and this innovative brand has it in spades. How else do you make it nearly a century and a half and still come across so modern?

To celebrate their big birthday, Shiseido has re-released their first (as in, of all time) cosmetic product for a limited time. Eudermine is a softening lotion; not only does it moisturize immediately, it improves your skin’s ability to moisturize itself in the long term. This smoothing, lightly exfoliating agent is especially good for snobs who travel a lot, since the formula also responds rapid changes in climate, keeping you supple whether you’re in Waikiki or the Windy City. Just apply it to your face in the morning and at night after your regular cleanser.

Most appealing of all: the packaging! In a nod to the Victorian era, Eudermine comes in its original bottle which oozes old-fashioned romance. Exclusively at Shiseido for $60.

Oh, the packaging is just lovely! I’d love to give eudermine a try just to see how the ladies were moisturizing their skin back in 1872.
