Kudos to Anne Hathaway for getting into character without using wigs or props. For her latest role as Fantine (the prostitute who sells her hair and teeth to care for her child) in the film version of “Les Miserables”, she cropped her long luscious locks and is reportedly on a strict diet to lose weight for the role.

She looks incredible and I have a feeling this is going to set a new trend! Of course gamine chic is nothing new– but it’s been decades since anyone did it as well as Mia Farrow and Winona Ryder. I wish I had the gumption to cut my hair this short but I just don’t think I’d look half as cute as Anne! What about you, would you cut it all off?
