Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation
By Beauty Snob Sharon
March 5, 2012

If you’ve read anything I’ve written in the past about Hourglass you might know that it’s one of my favorite brands. They’re top notch when it comes to quality (everything goes on super smooth and lasts forever without feeling heavy), and aside from great color products they’ve also got awesome tools and I’m OBSESSED with their primer! Their latest launch is Hourglass Immaculate Liquid Powder Foundation ($55) and it’s meant for those with oily skin (if you’ve got dry or normal skin try their hero product, Veil Fluid Makeup, which come next month will have UVA/UVB protection).

Immaculate comes in eight shades and unlike so many full coverage foundations it not only goes on incredibly smooth, it’s not dehydrating – especially if you layer it over their primer. My shade is Shell and it seems to have some gold tone in it, which has helped neutralize some of the pink in my skin. What is truly unique about this foundation however is the texture…it really is liquid to powder! If you’re looking for a matte finish foundation that will last you all day and leave your skin feeling soft without clogging pores, trust in this one because I can guarantee you won’t regret it (and if you do….feel free to complain in the comments, but I honestly cannot imagine any complaints!).

this is the best foundation i have every used for oily skin . i loved it… even though its pricey you only need one pump and it lasts several months. I like applying it with an airbrush brush. The sephora brand brush works very well with it to achieve great coverage.
