I often tweet about my Chinese aunts’ obsession with TJ Maxx– when they arrive to the US from Asia, one of the first places they want to shop at is TJ Maxx/Marshalls (followed by Neiman Marcus and Hermes of course, there is a method to their shopping madness!). This season we partnered up with TJ Maxx/Marshalls and I was asked to shop holiday gift ideas at my local TJ Maxx/Marshalls (hello, I’m already a regular there and was in and out within 20 minutes) and share them with you. The problem is, I want to keep all the beauty things I found! The best score this week was the T3 pink tourmaline blow dryer I’d been wanting to get (retail $100) for $49. The beauty section is expansive and offer everything from tools to products (my favorite beachy wavy hair helper from David Babaii for Wildaid was half off so I stocked up on that too). My Pup Snob, Yoshi, also got his “First Christmas” outfit ($10.99) plus a doggie treat basket for his neighborhood besties. The huge beauty basket was intended for a girlfriend but I may keep it for myself– full of candles, bath salts, oils and lotions and potions all wrapped in a big leopard fabric basket that I can use for storage later. My 3 month old goddaughter will be styling in these adorable outfits and will love chewing on her new toy. I got all of the above (plus two hats for myself, heehee) for under $200!

I love giving scarves as gifts, they don’t require sizing and are an instant wardrobe booster. The shearling boots are perfect for the chill in the air and you can not go wrong with a pair of colorful leather gloves (an easy way to wear the color block trend without a big commitment).
We all have a friend who is the expert entertainer, she can always use more pretty crystal vases/bowls, silver/copper servers or sparkly photo frames!
What’s better than a sweater for dad and cute accessories for mom?! You will not believe the bag selection at the TJ Maxx in NYC– Prada, Gucci, Dior, Kors,– it’s every fashion editor’s “not so guilty” pleasure!

My favorite was a BCBGeneration blazer for $24.99. It had the original BCBG tags on it…regularly priced at $248! Also, I love that gold-toned ice bucket in your hostess with the mostess box. I’m definitely going to TJ’s this weekend to look for it!

This wonderful basket style purse, it is white leather with a basket bottom and it is my go to purse in the summer. I bought this at the TJMaxx in Maplewood, MN about 15 years ago and still have it.
I’ve gotten a lot of great deals there but my fave is my Michael Kors python Hamilton purse.

I love TJMaxx and Marshalls!! I go even more often now that I have a daughter…I find so many great deals on clothing, toys, books, baby accessories and more (she already has the cute Infantino teething blocks pictured here, which I found at Marshalls). My favorite find for me, though, is a large periwinkle blue wristlet, Hobo brand, that I got for less than $40. I also have a scarf that I bought for less than $3 at TJMaxx – I don’t even know the brand but it is one of my most complimented possessions! My area TJMaxx/Marshalls don’t stock the high end brands like Prada and Gucci, though, I am very jealous!

A couple of years ago I found a Nars eye shadow palette for $36 dollars.
I scored a $300 pair of Cole Haan heels for $15! I have been a TJ Maxx addict ever since.
A close second, was the Chirp china that I got. I don’t remember the total price tag, but there was a full 12 piece place setting in the clearance isle.
i got really lucky and found the cutest pink BCBG heels. i also love to purchase philosophy shower gels from tj maxx.
A couple years ago I found a Pink and Yellow Jessica Simpson over the shoulder purse for only $15.00 I had it for a few months before I lost it in a bag car wreck that I was in. That has been my favorite find and purse I have found at TJ Maxx!
I have to many great buys to mention, I also love their kitchen section, lots of gourmet sauces and olives, etc.
My favorite find is a Theory silk leopard print dress I found a year ago. The regular retail price was $398 (TJ Maxx price $149.99) but I got it on clearance for $39. This year I found a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti pumps on clearance for $119 (retail price $650).

I found so many great buys. At Marshalls I found a paif of gold Stuart Weitzman pumps for $30!
Though narrowing down my “favorite finds” is a huge feat (sooo many amazing deals over the years) my favorites are a recent Nanette Lepore dress steal ($258 MSRP for $25) and a red Furla tote I found on Black Friday 2011 ($400 for $79)!

i have always been a macys, nordstrom girl. it was easy when i lived in new jersey, they were every where. now 8 yrs. i live in minnesota, 2 hrs. from the mall of america ( macys & nordies) i have a tjmaxx 45 min away that i live for.i get great buys at tjmaxx. i bought a michael kors leather coat 2 months ago, that i love. in minnesota its all about the coats, long winter!
One recently opened here, so I don’t have any good buys to report….yet.
My gorgeous new Born boots for $69.00 and 4 pairs of Born shoes over the last year. Born is the most comfortable shoe I have found. My Michael Kors purse for $145 would also top my list. Also love all the Cynthia Rowley sweaters, I have a closet full! The list goes on and on….and on!!

I’m so jealous of some of the comments on here! We don’t have high-end brands like Kate Spade, Versace, or Jimmy Choo here in Omaha so I never see really good stuff like that at my stores!

Last spring, I snagged a pair of black suede stuart weitzman ballet flats – with cute silver studding across the toes of the shoes. I adore them and they were on clearance for $49!
My fav was years ago I got a pair of black patent rain boots for $7.00 ( orig. $135.00 back in 1996 ) I think they were Evan Picone? They were rubber soled and to this day the sole looks almost new ( I walk a lot too ). They are comfy but are fashionable and I recondition the patent every year and they look like new. I’ve gotten many bargains since but these are my best deal since I’m still using them and they look great. FYI the inside is still in great condition too. These are the only shoes that have lasted this long and still in excellant condition.
Kate spade vase for under $40. And of course the full line of the “The Balm” cosmetics line for half the retail price that it sells for in Sephora. But my best steal so far is my new Prada bag for under $250. I love TJ Maxx and Marshalls!!
