Deborah Lippman ‘The Stripper to Go’ Nail Lacquer Remover Finger Mitts: Take It All Off!
By Beauty Snob Kelly

Every girl needs “The Stripper to Go” in her beauty arsenal! Seriously, I’m buying this for all my girlfriends. We have all used the nail polish remover that comes on a pad (I keep them in my travel bag for polish emergencies), but this is no acetone-soaked pad. It’s different and it’s genius.

Nail hero Deborah Lippman has devised a little mitt form-fitted for your finger to fit inside perfectly. It has grip so you don’t have to strain your fingers to keep it from sliding around while you work the polish off. Just slip your fingers into the mitt and twist them back in forth; since it covers the entire fingertip, you can even get the edges where your nails and cuticles meet.

Who knew a lavender remover could be so powerful? It says one mitt cleans all ten nails. I was skeptical, especially since I had on Lippman’s Billionaire polish (super-dark), but lo and behold, it did an exceptional job. Even the cuticles were bare and clean, an incredible feat considering I have dry cuticles. The essential lavender also helps with the scent; it’s not bad, like your average remover that makes your nose bleed with its fumes (I wouldn’t say it smells fantastic, but lavender makes it much better). It even contains aloe vera and glycerin, leaving your fingers conditioned and not dried out.

Amazing stuff. This is going to be a permanent item in my beauty closet from now on. At Nordstromicon for $12.
