Breaking News! Shiseido, the venerable cosmetics line, is partnering with HSN, the Home Shopping Network! This is major for Beauty Snobsof all walks. Many of Shiseido’s most innovative products will be featured in this launch (including their Bioperformance Corrective Serum, the Benefiance Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream and the White Lucent Spot Target Serum). This is an exciting collaboration, so don’t miss the big live show on July 21 and 22 when beauty expert and HSN host, Amy Morrison, debuts the partnership and offers her best skincare and makeup tips. Here’s a hint of what will be featured:
Shiseido Makeup Mascara Base ($23) is not only a great base for mascara application, but also works wonders on unruly eyebrows. Amy calls it, “hairspray for the eyebrows!”
Next up is Luminizing Satin Eye Color Trio ($33). In an assortment of different palettes to choose from, ranging from “Punky Blues” to “Tropicalia, the varying shades don’t have to be devoted strictly to the eyes – use them in all the right places for extra high-lighting (décolleté, shoulders, cheekbones).
Another favorite is for all you Man Snobs: the Skincare Cleansing Massage Brush ($25). This brush helps guys get a closer shave and deter those unwanted ingrown hairs. (Hmm…maybe we girls might want to try it!)
Amy recommends Shiseido’s Benefiance Pure Retinol Instant Treatment Eye Mask ($62.50) to work its wonders revving up tired eyes. And she gives great advice about where to put those masks after they’ve done their magic on your eyes – put them on the back of your hands. Everyone knows that’s where the real revealer of age resides!
Awake eyes mean nothing if they lack luster. Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Eye Treatment ($52.50) does more than double duty, according to Amy. Of course, it does as promises – brightens the eye area, but she also recommends applying it on the lips to smooth, nourish, and brighten them. She even suggests men use it to lighten dark under-eye circles.
