MAC Prep + Prime Future Length Lash Serum: The Future Perfect?

It sounds too good to be true. A non-medical (as in it doesn’t use anything close to what’s included in glaucoma drugs, as we’ve seen in RevitaLash and MD Lash Factor, among others) eyelash lengthening serum that really works. Which is why I’m approaching MAC‘s Future Length Lash Serum with skepticism. The patented formula promises dramatically longer, fuller lashes in eight weeks. For good.

They say to apply a single swipe (the clear liquid comes on a thin, clear brush) at the base of your upper and lower lash lines every morning and evening, after washing and drying off your face. I spoke with some MAC makeup artists who a currently swearing by it, insisting they noticed longer lashes after just two weeks, but isn’t it only natural they vouch for their team? I’m taking measurements of my eyelashes – well, more like a rough estimate! – today, and I’ll report back in a month to give you the lash lowdown. It either means revolutionary lash technology has arrived or I’ll remain committed to my lengthening mascara! At MAC for $30.
