After last week’s eye-opening experience, I am definitely in the market for an effective anti-aging product. Kelly and I had a photo shoot in LA – that part wasn’t so bad – but going over the stills was one of the most painful things I’ve had to endure in a long time. High-resolution and definition are certainly cool, until it’s you under the microscope! When did these lines appear all over my face? Whose eyes are those with the droopy eyelids? Is that MY neck? Did my grandmother stand in for me?

Help was soon on the way with Murad‘s Complete Reform with Glycol Firming Complex (a long name for a big job). This anti-aging product claims to increase firmness by up to 61% after just one application (I was tempted to apply it ten times the first day!). But after just one treatment I did experience an instant tightening sensation that makes me believe it really is going to work. At least that’s what I’m hoping. It feels somewhat sticky at first, but once I apply moisturizer and sunscreen the stickiness dissipates. It’s recommended for daily use, but since it has glycolic acid I make sure I wear a hat even while driving. I just love that it smells like lavender, and not like chemicals. And I love what it doesn’t have: parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances or dyes, petrochemicals, and more. Lightweight in texture, but heavy-duty on sagging, wrinkling skin – I’m sold.
