A sincere thank-you to Chanel! I recently received the best lipstick from them. Their new Rouge Coco Shine glides on with the ease of a lipstick, but packs the high-shine of a gloss, sans stickiness. Unfortunately for a lip wear junkie like myself, the hubby and the boy loathe lip gloss (don’t all men?!). But with this lovely tube of “lipshine” they’re none the wiser! Heavy lipstick is automatic glamour, but it tends to build up and dry out over the course of the day. Rouge Coco Shine is an inspired compromise, and it’s so soft and weightless, it feels like I have nothing on! Light as air, high in impact, and more hydrating than most balms, I’m sold. My favorite shades? I’m thinking pink for spring: “Unique,” a shimmering berry, and “Chance,” pale and chic for just a tinge of pink. I might tote both to keep my options open. After all, a few “C”s in the makeup bag is always a pick-me-up. At Chanel for $32.
