Tom Ford Launches Body Products
By Beauty Snob Sharon
March 28, 2011

Forget about his re-entry into womenswear because as far as I’m concerned the best thing that Tom Ford has done since leaving Gucci and YSL is developing his beauty line! First there were his fragrances (I’ve been nothing short of obsessed with White Suede since its launch), then were were his lipsticks (I wouldn’t dare leave my apartment for a big night out without Moroccan Rouge), and then came his men’s fragrance. A stand-out among his men’s private blend fragrances is Neroli Portofino, which I refuse to believe I can’t pull-off! It literally feels like spring in a bottle — just remember that though the fragrance is light, it packs a lot of punch so spray it lightly. A tiny spritz will last hours, no joke. Usually I spray a fragrance and within a few minutes I’ll find it hard to tell if the scent is still palpable, no such case with this (note it’s an eau de parfum, not an eau de toilette and when I asked my friend Christine, who works at IFF, about the fragrance she said that the orange blossom in the scent “allows for a longer, richer presence”). Given the popularity of the scent, Ford has launched Neroli Portofino lotion, soap, scrub, body oil, and shower gel. They’ll officially hit counters next week, but you can pre-order them online already.

Of course the packaging is to die for gorgeous. It reminds me of Hermes Eau d’Orange Verte, but dare I say better. Hurry up and order because I hear they’re selling quickly! Ford for Life!

How awesome is the campaign to promote the line?? The press release was printed on the other side of these images.

Tom Ford is going to leave me broke… if the products sold in my country I’d have bought half the line already. And I’m a Moroccan Rouge fan too!
