Smashbox Brow Tech

If there is one trouble spot I have with beauty, it’s eyebrows. I’m not sure why this is, because I have decent brows. They have good shape to them and aren’t too thin or thick, yet I never think they have the strong look that I want when I study my own photos closely (I don’t do this often, just when I’m brow inspecting).

I found myself at Sephora one day when my friend was taking a practice run with her bridal makeup and they used the Smashbox Brow Tech on her non-existent brows. They looked fabulous when finished. I asked the woman to slap some of that on me and when she did, I finally had the stronger, shapely brow I had been searching for. I thought I had black eyebrows so when she came at me with the dark brown I thought I was going to look ridiculous, like I had tried to dye my brows lighter. It turned out to be quite the opposite. They made them dark, not in a Madonna circa early-90′s scary way, but in a subtle, natural pretty way.

It also comes with a lighter color so in the summer when you’re not wearing much makeup on the beach and you’ve gotten your spring highlights; you can lighten those babies up a bit for a sun kissed look. The wax really keeps everything in place and neat.
