High off the success of his first fragrance, Balenciaga Paris, Nicolas Ghesquière has launched a bevy of ancillary products designed to complement and sooth the body and soul. My favorite ? The sumptuous black body scrub. Yes, it does its job–the mineral aspect of the black sand sweeps away dead surface skin cells–but it leaves the skin incredibly soft and silky. I tried this once in the shower and the next morning my skin felt unbelieveably clean. While the packaging follows along the black-and-white lines of the collection, the wild chypre-violet note is at once stimulating and nourishing. And did I mention the intense black color of the scrub? Absolutely invigorating!
