I am having severe hormonal issues caused from stress and too much traveling (according to my doctor) and it’s causing my skin to malfunction as well. My skin is not its usual dewy self– it’s dry and patchy and even my lips are dry no matter how much water I drink! I got a one week sample of La Prairie Cellular Radiance that is said to address hormonal fluctuations recently and I’m hoping it will help. It’s made of enzymes and 24k colloidal PURE GOLD (thus the very hefty price). Though my skin is still a bit dry, it does feel better immediately after I use this. Long term effects remains to be seen but do I have it in me to shell out $425 for the full size 1.7 oz. bottle?!?! It all depends, if I see a drastic difference in my skin after a week from this supposed miracle cream, I will be heading to Neiman Marcus North Park to get me some, no matter the price, my skin is worth it! What about you, what’s the most you’ve ever paid for a skin cream?

Get a light peel. You’ll be back to normal. You want a beta peel. Consider stopping testing products on your face, use MD Forte replenishing cleanser and a simple moisturizer. Something simple from Ren will work well. These 500 department store creams are a sham. The creams just smell good and feel good, but they are no more effective than drug store creams. You shouldn’t push them. If you need a 500 cream, it’s time to go see the Dr. and even in NY that’s cheaper than 500.
Try the Dr. Sebagh serum ($400 a bottle but so worth it). (You can get a sample from DeDe Fuqua at BarneysNY in Dallas). I have the same problems as you do. It is hormonal and stress-related. She sent me a sample and my skin has never felt better. I am waiting for the Beauty Event to order it. This sounds wonderful as well. I am a skin care junkie and the Dr. Sebagh is the best. Good luck.
