I have a thing for pomegranate scented anything. Candles, lotions, shower gels, etc etc. But Pomegranate with Anise is a bit lost on me. What’s Anise you ask? It’s a star shaped herbal seed most used in Chinese food. While I love how it flavors slow cooked pork belly, you do not want to bite into one of these suckers. I did that as a kid and the bitter taste will be forever imprinted in my mouth and when I sprayed this in the air (I never test fragrances on myself until I whiff it first) it was all I could think of. But that’s just me because everyone else that came over seemed to love it so I’ll keep it in the guest room for my friends to enjoy.
