If Latisse is not your speed, try this super duper lash plumping serum from Dior Show. Not only does it thicken and curl your lashes instantly (unfortunately does not lengthen that much), it conditions your lashes all day long underneath your 3 coats of mascara! I use this daily now and love how my Dior Show “Black Out” mascara goes on over it. You do have to wait for this to dry for a few seconds before attempting mascara or it gets kind of gloppy. But compared to other brands I’ve tried, it dries a lot faster. Be very careful when you apply though, I ended up with so much on my lashes the first time it took almost 5 coats of mascara to cover the white part!
Hi Tina, I just got this last week. I use this first let it dry, then put urban decay eyelash primer on the the tips of my lashes for length, let that dry then use my mascara. I get very long and thick lashes. I only use one or two coats of mascara this way and it works the best that I have tried yet.

I love this stuff. It’s one of the better primers out there. However, there are NO ingredients in this that will give you longer or thicker lashes. The only thing that will is Bimatoprost- the prostaglandin in Latisse. There are other prostaglandin analogues ( things with a similar composition to bimatoprost) that could act the same way, but i’m 99% sure that Allergen has yanked them off the market due to copyrighting. They have a monopoly on all things Latisse-esque.
but as a primer, as i said it’s pretty decent and not clumpy. The best way to apply mascara over a primer though is to still have the primer be a bit sticky and not totally dry so the macara has something to adhere to. I found with this brush (I hate plastic brushes) that you need a very light hand to apply.

Thanks so much for this review. I have found that most primers do add dimension to lashes, but they usually fail to add length anyway. My best tip to add length is to use a lash curler, then draw the mascara brush upward when applying & zig-zagging at the same time to separate each lash. This pushes lashes upward and gives the appearance of more length.
thanks for the review. I purchased this about 2 weeks ago and did a review on it as well on my blog! I came to your site to see what others thought of it. This stuff is really amazing and I use it everyday as well. Right now I am wearing Lash Stiletto by Maybelline over it, and its GREAT. I will have to try it with the Dior Black Out Mascara as well.

so basically i am wasting my time with diorshow maximizer lash plumping serum because i too am trying to thicken up my lashes and have them grow from being damaged from false lashes that i tried once. You mentioned the product should have Bimatoprost.
