New Sensai Bronzing Powder
By Beauty Snob Sharon
May 24, 2010
I recently flew out to St Louis for my brother’s college graduation and with all the airport madness I figured it would be best to stick with hand-luggage. Unfortunately that meant leaving my treasured Sensai Fluid Finish Foundation at home (I swear the Natural Beige shade feels like it was made for me!). I did bring along Sensai’s New Bronzing Powder ($45). I usually use Fluid Finish and top it with NARS Bronzer, Prescriptives Blush, and an Estee Lauder Highlighter, but the Sensai powder ended-up eliminating my need for the highlighter. It’s a great finishing powder that’s ideally used in combination with Fluid Finish (or whatever your preferred liquid foundation is), to help set in the foundation, impart a finishing touch of color and shine, and unlike some other finishing powders, it’s not drying.  More after the jump!

The new version of the powder is a bit of a multi-tasker because it has Koishimaru Silk in its formulation, which is the key ingredient in the brand’s anti-aging products. Lastly, anyone who knows me knows that I have a big peeve about spending money on a compact or shadow that doesn’t come with a brush! I don’t like sponges (which is what the powder from NARS I was using before came with), I don’t like using my hands, and I usually don’t have room (or want to!), carry a brush with me. This compact has both a mirror and a professional blush applicator brush:-)
