Cover Girl x Pat McGrath LeSportsac Cosmetic Bags

Taking inspiration from the slender yellow tube of Cover Girl’s LashBlast Length Mascara containing Elasta-Nylon formula, the beauty giant, in collaboration with Pat McGrath, is next month launching a limited-edition LeSportsac nylon cosmetic bag conceived by the legendary makeup artist and beauty guru. “The nylon cosmetic bag, inspired by my favorite mascara–LashBlast Length–is luxe and perfect for holding all your beauty essentials,” said McGrath, global creative design director for P&G Beauty. “It’s been a great experience for me to work with both brands and combine my two passions of fashion and beauty.” As anyone in fashion knows, LeSportsac is no stranger to collaborations, having partnered with everyone from Stella McCartney to Gwen Stefani.

Specifically, the inspiration behind the design of the cosmetic bags was McGrath’s “all black” uniform at Fashion Week as well as the sexiness of her latest ad campaign for Cover Girl Blast products with spokesmodel Drew Barrymore. Each black on black patent design of the nylon cosmetic bag, coupled with the bright yellow zipper, also includes a tube of LashBlast Length Mascara and a coupon for Cover Girl Blast boutique of products as a gift with purchase. McGrath designed two bags: “The Pat” and “The Page,” and retails for $28 and $62, respectively. While both are ideal for travelling, “The Pat” is great for everyday use: toss it in your tote and you’re good to go! The slick nylon and durable coating mean it’s easy to clean and resistant to spills (because you never know!).

The cosmetic bags will be available at LeSportsac boutiques and on LeSportsac.com beginning in June.

These bags are so cute. I love the small size as it’s easy to throw in a day bag and the material makes them fairly easy to clean.
