I can only imagine the conversation that took place between Nic and her make up artist after these photos were published internationally (it probably ended with someone fired and/or in tears). I am a fan of highlighting powder myself, but when a make up artist at NBC dusted similar white powder under my eyes and on my nose I was a bit concerned. I actually wiped it off before I went on camera. Apparently Nicole had hers done in the dark, possibly by a person with severe vision problems. Note to Nic: always bring your own mirror!
Apparently, according to Michelle Phan she was using powder that had talc and that was not suitable for the flash. So it got reflected. That plus powser wasn't blended properly. Yowza!
sorry, meant to say *powder
it looks like straight- up talcum powder. weird.
Re: Amani
I read the same thing too, on Michelle Phan's twitter. Unfortunate oversight. Ms. Kidman is beautiful nonetheless!
Not to mention the fact that the placement of the "highlighter" is a bit off- even if it didn't show up as chalky, white and totally obvious, the highlighter under the eyes is to close to the lashline (it should be on the ocular bone) and it goes way to far in toward the bridge of the nose, which would only serve to make her look puffy.
Seeing work like this makes me want to up and move to LA or NYC, because if this person can get hired by NBC, who knows how far I could go! Eek!
