There were some craaaazy lip colors this season on the runway. Henry Holland was the most over-the-top. Among the colors he showed were deep purple lips! I’m not sure what’s worse — purple lips coordinated with a purple outfit or purple lips clashing with a beige one!? All I can say for sure if this is one trend I hope stays on the runway and off the streets!
Would you sport purple lips?
i think you’re being too judgmental – this is runway. there are plenty of ways to translate a purple lip into everyday looks, just probably not that extreme. plum is technically purple, and it’s one of the biggest shades right now.
What is a blog for if you are not going to be judgmental? I personally think this is a stupid look. I would not wear it. Is runway going to become just a circus? Maybe so! I say no to ugly purple lips. They scream “fashion victim”.
The only person that should wear purple lipstick is Grace Jones. Ever.
