Nars celebrates its 15 years with help from a few friends (Marc, Daphne, and many others) in a beauty book titled “15×15″ to be launched on November 30th. I love the photo of a campy Marc Jacobs– it was inspired by a Richard Avedon image of Sixties supermodel China Machado and Nars Dovima Nail Polish (a tomato-red shade named for another Sixties-era supermodel who was a favorite of Avedon’s.) “It is really an homage to Avedon, who I’ve admired for years,” said Nars. Proceeds from Jacobs’ image will go to AmFar. My favorite NARS product is his new Soft Touch Eyeshadow pens– you draw along the lashline and insta glam! What about you, what is your fave Nars?
I love NARS makeup, especially their lipstick. Definitely worth the expense.
Orgasm blush. It is a popular one, for a reason! And they make make up shades for a wide range of darker skintones which is rare.
