One of the things my bf complains most often about is how I always smell like "lotions and potions" -- he's not a fan (especially when they're greasy and they rub off on him...boys they just don't understand!). While I do take his aversion seriously, it's not worth risking premature wrinkles! There is one area however where I can make a comprise and that's with lip balms. I've been a longtime user of L'Occitane's lip balm which is moisturizing without imparting any smell. The last two tubes I've bought however did not penetrate my lips well (at first I thought maybe I had gotten an old tube, but when I bought the second one and had the same problem I knew it couldn't be that...new formulation perhaps). Any case, Fresh has a lip treatment that is a nice alternative. In fact I'm surprised it took me this long to try! Their Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 ($22.50), is pretty much a classic and now they've come out with Fresh Sugar Rosé Tinted Lip Treatment SPF 15

Good post, I love this chapstick but agree it's too expensive. Also, it's "in any case", and "no easy feat". Just bothered me so I had to say, sorry!
