How sleek is Guerlain's Rouge G de Guerlain Jewel Lipstick Compact
($45)? Its all metal case was designed by Place Vendome jeweler Lorenz Baumer and it features a double mirror and comes in 25 shades. The new formulations is supposed to be lightweight, long-lasting, and highly pigmented. It's also formulated with hyaluronic acid microspheres which is a lip plumper. I tend to stick with gloss so I haven't tried this for myself, but I saw it at Bergdorf and love the look of this lipstick -- very obviously inspired by jewelry making. Rouge G has a hidden hinge and there's also a light clicking noise when the lipstick is removed from its case which causes the case, with its double mirrors, to flip open. Guerlain is engraved on the lipstick case.
Guerlain has a nice line of skincare, too. the orchidee cream is supposed to be the bomb. can you guys review?
