I took a tennis lesson yesterday and thought I’d been careful with my SPF but Texas sun is brutal and by the end of the night my chest had blistered! I looked through my arsenal of ‘after sun’ care (sent to me courtesy of various PR firms) and a bright yellow bottle caught my eye. It was the Clinique Rescue Balm with Aloe for after sun care. I gave it to my hubby to use after golf last week and he loved it (and this is one picky Man Snob!). I put some on my chest before bed and woke up blister free this morning. Clinique’s Rescue Balm is an ultra moisturizing balm with soothing aloe that calms sun exposed skin. It “repairs” the skin to help prevent today’s sun exposure to tomorrow’s damage. I’m heading out to the Clinique counter to stock up on this right now (you can only get 1 press sample unfortunately, I buy the bulk of my beauty products just like everyone else). I’m going to keep one for the hubby’s golf bag, one for my tennis/golf bag and one for our son’s pool bag. There is also a really cool sunblock stick that I use on both the hubby and son’s faces. Guys are weird and hate putting lotion on their face, both my boys (the big one and little one) squirm and scream if it gets minutely close to their eyes but with the Sun Stick they sit there and let me apply and re-apply as often as necessary (I do it every hour or so for best protection). Check out Clinique’s site here for a complete line of fragrance free and allergy tested Sun care and get a free summer tote with any 2 purchases!
Rescue Balm with aloe $20
Clinique Sun SPF 45 Targeted Protection Stick $17.50

This product seems awesome, and I’m not surprised. Clinique’s sun protection products generally work really well for me. But I am really impressed that it was able to heal even the blister that already popped up. I really like the idea of the SPF stick, I currently use the Kiehls Eye stick for SPF but now I can have one for my entire face! Thanks for this tip.
Love the bright yellow packaging much better than the previous range.
