The Quest for Long Lashes Part 2: Neu Lash
By Beauty Snob Tina
April 9, 2009

neulash.jpg

I reviewed several different brands of lash ‘growth’ serums that I used through 2008 and am continuing my quest for long lashes in 2009 (I just got the Latisse two weeks ago– please wait for my review and results in 8 weeks!).  I use each brand at least 6 weeks to be fair (in addition to stopping for 2 weeks before commencing a new brand) and it’s been interesting to see how my lashes are responding (am just hoping I don’t go blind!). The latest one I tried is from Neu Lash. I really liked this one because it didn’t sting or irritate, but unfortunately it didn’t really make them as long as I’d hoped. Here is my review of NeuLash, rated from 1-4, 4 being best.

Effectiveness: 2– Lashes looked darker and slightly longer, but not much thicker.

Stinging:
4– This does not sting at all, which makes it a good day time conditioner, too.

Side Effects: 4– NONE! I have not noticed any darkening of eye area or iris of eyes.

Applicator: 2- I found the applicator to be a bit too thin for my liking. It was a very tiny brush so I had to apply several times to feel like I got enough on my lashes.

Final assessment– this is a brand worthy of trying if you have sensitive eyes or wear contact lenses. It’s the only one that I’ve ever tried that did not sting or make my eyes water!  Neulash is $150 here.
Stay tuned for Latisse review at the end of May!

I used NEU LASH before bed and I woke up with a huge red blotch on the white of my eye.

I do not recommend this product!!! I was very careful putting it on. Now I look like I got punched in the eye.

I used Neulash before bed and then during the day I use RapidLash. I have been using it for almost a week now and my lashes are very long and curled up. I used to have very short and stubby lashes. Now, I love it!!!
