The images above perfectly sum-up what I think about crimped hair -- it's a hair trend best left to the young! I love Madonna, but crimped hair, in my opinion, only works on ladies in their 20s and 30s and no
t on those who were adults in the 80s (you had your chance to rock the look back in the day!). As to the frizzy-crimp looks, those should be left exclusively to runway models like the one pictured on the left at the Spring-Summer 2009 Dior Haute Couture Show. That said for Lindsay Lohan-esque crimped hair Redken Spray Starch 15 is great to apply when using a crimping iron. It protects your hair while mimicking the pattern of your iron. Plus it locks in your crimps to keep them frizz free!
