My skin has been slowly cracking the last few years, literally. I am so stressed about it I am begging my husband to move us back home to LA. I love Texas, really do, but the weather here is the most harsh and wrinkle inducing I have ever lived in. Never have I experienced 85 degree weather followed by snow/sleet/hail the next day. My skin reacted by cracking and misbehaving, I was able to control it but this year, it got really bad. It went on strike this past Fall and wouldn’t take to any amount of moisture masks, moisturizers, collagen masks, or facials. I started exfoliating with Natura Bisse’s C+C scrub last month and its finally starting to behave a bit. Apparently exfoliation is key, my beauties. You’d think in dry harsh conditions you should moisturize but that just builds up, you need to exfoliate to constantly assist the healthy young cells in the bottom layers of your dermis to migrate upwards. This is a very gentle yet effective scrub that I keep in the shower and use daily. It has real gems particles (amythest and quartz) and hydrates while it exfoliates with vitamin C and fatty acids. Grab several jars of this and give to your girlfriends for Christmas– they’ll thank you for their glowing soft skin next year! $65 at Neiman Marcus

I bought some Nutra Bisse after I had read so many rave reviews on beautysnob! So when state side I treated myself to the CC body cream and the diamond scrub….I think I will try this scrub as my skin is equaly misbehaving in the cold climes of the UK!! Do you have any other tips on rich and nourishing body moisturizer?-I’ve alternated with so many I still haven’t found the perfect partner!!

This is very very tempting – I wonder why they don’t have it in Singapore where we need it the most!
Does this help to remove blackheads/whiteheads and the like?
^ And Lottie, try L’Occitane Body Lotion (15% shea butter) – Beauty snob Kelly did recommend it a while ago. It’s very very moisturizing and when accompanied with the body cleanser, it hydrates like a dream even in UK’s harsh winters! I like Kiehl’s Creme de Corps as well…
Thanks Vogue I will have a try…I have however tried the Kiehl’s it just doesn’t feel buttery enough during the winter months!!
