Kanebo Sensai

Kanebo Sensai.jpgI've been curious to try something from Kanebo Sensai ever since I read Beauty Snob Tina's write-up on the Kanebo Sensai Foundation Series. Well, the time has come! I've been using the Kanebo Sensai Instant Silky Foam Cleanser ($50) every other day for about three weeks now (I alternate with a bargain-find cleanser that I use with Clarisonic -- more on that soon!), and I love it. The interesting thing is that I don't usually like foam as much as cream cleansers because I never feel that my face gets as clean, but the Kanebo Sensai cleanser is very rich and leaves my skin soft (though I still follow cleansing with an anti-aging cream). The cleanser is recommended for those with normal-to-oily and combination skin, but my skin is sensitive and it hasn't been a problem in the least. As a side tidbit, the cleanser is formulated with Koishimaru silk (which gives the moisture), once exclusively used for the imperial family in Japan!
