Korres Facial Wipes and More…

P211625_hero.jpgI’m inspired to write a story on facial cloths because while in Paris I picked-up some from Nivea ($9.95) and they were horrible! No moisture, barely got rid of my makeup and it literally took 5-6 wipes each time! Now that I’m back in the States I’m back to using the ones from Biore ($7.89), which are great — full of moisture, fresh scent, nice texture — and then recently after it was suggested to me, I inquired and ended-up trying Pomegranate Cleasing & Make Up Removing Wipes from Korres ($12) and I looove the smell!!! The pomegranate formula helps tighten pores and the wipes are aimed at oily and combination skin. That said, besides the wonderful smell they’re super-effective. I only need one wipe and they even get rid of my waterproof mascara! Lastly, I haven’t tried these yet, but I thought it would be worth mentioning Josie Maran Bear Naked Wipes 30 Wipes ($12). They’re all-natural and biodegradable, and a portion of the sales proceeds are being donated to the National Resource Defense Council’s Polar Bear SOS Initiative to save the species and their environments:) No matter the facial cloth though I always, always use a cleanser afterward to make sure every last bit of dirt, makeup, and excess oil is off my face!

    HI Sharon,

Could you please tell me where I can purchase the Korres wipes? They sound great!

    Thanks Sharon,

I’m headed to Sephora today and I’ll check them out!

  3. I’m glad! Make sure to call ahead though as not every Sephora carries Korres..hope you like them!

  4. I always use wipes to take off my makeup too, then I wash my face. I use baby wipes for my face and regular makeup remover for my eyes.

  5. I’ve tried Nivea too in the past and it is horrible. I have to check out the korres cloth wipes. I have oily and combination skin and it would be perfect for me to fully cleanse my skin with.
