False Eyelash Placement Kit
By Beauty Snob Kelly
October 1, 2008

I have been on a lash obsession of late and this involves me buying every variety of lashes and finding occasion to wear them. (Looks like Tina is going through the same obsession!) My latest find during this rampage is this lash placement kit at Sephora. It is a clip that kind of looks like something you close your bag of chips with but is in fact for lashes. There is a soft rubber tip that gently grips the lashes and allows you to precisely place them at your lash line with great speed and dexterity. I have heard that this does not work on all eye shapes because of the specific curvature but I am Asian and so probably have a flatter curve than others and it works perfectly well on me. I have the Shu Uemura lash applicator (which is essential for individual lashes but is a bit pricey at $55), but this one has better control because you have a better grip of the lash so you can push it right up to the very edge of your natural lash line for the perfect placement. The kit comes with a lash “kick stand” where you can keep your lashes between uses but it is a necessity for this applicator to work properly. When the lash is on the stand, it is in the exact curved position it needs to be in to go on the clip in perfect alignment. It works best with new lashes that have the slight adhesive but even with used lashes, you can use your fingers to keep the edge on the stand while you get it on the clip. And all this for only $10. If you want to wear falsies, don’t mess around, spend the $10 and save yourself some grief and caked on glue from reapplying and reapplying. Sephora Brand Lash Placement Kit.
