Benefit: Powderlage makes me sparkle!
By Beauty Snob Tina

powderflage.jpgpowderflage2.jpg

Camouflage dark circles and lines with Benefit’s latest product and my latest obsession, the “Powderflage“. I have been keeping this in my make up bag– not recommended as all the powder spilled to the top and when I opened it and got all over my new dress. So now I leave it on my make up counter to avoid more spills of this precious powder that makes me sparkle ever so lightly while hiding the fact that I have not slept properly since I returned home from my NY-LA adventure.

I use it over my Laura Mercier concealer and just lightly tap it in with the flat brush (enclosed with Powderflage). Voila, as good as 9 hours of sleep! $28 at Benefitcosmetics.com

    Hi Tina,

Does this product only come in one shade that flatters all complexions? I too, don’t get enough sleep (soccer mom), and being Italian really makes it bad. I’d love to try this, but want to make sure that on fair skin tones with dark features, it won’t look too white, if you know what I mean.

There is no Benefit.com, must be a minor typo from Tina, should be BenefitCosmetics.com. BenefitCosmetics offers and coupons are generally available at HerCoupon.com.

So, on a related note, which is better? Laura Mercier’s concealer combo, or Bobbi Brown’s? I can add this on top of either, I guess. :D

    I work for Benefit! Yay!

I actually have used both the Laura Mercier and Bobbi Brown concealer combos and I prefer the Bobbi formula.

The powders in the two formulas (which I used before the release of Powderflage) always made me look cakey and dry, but I couldn’t find anything else that worked. However, the Powerflage is perfect. It does come in that one color, but I am a dark tan color (I am Some Kinda Gorgeous Deep or Estee Lauder Double Wear Light 4 or Bobbi Brown Honey or Laura Mercier Secret Concealer 3 dark) and it works for me!

I love it. Everyone loves it.

I and all the girls I work with can’t get enough of it.

Hi there, I have dark hair and fair/medium skin tone, my friend is very fair and blonde and it works on both of us. It is a neutral shimmery shade, so obsessed with it. Go try it at the counter, I guarantee you will love it!

Hi Katey, Laura Mercier cream concealer (not combo) and this on top– hands down, the best. :)

I wonder if the Benefit is too shimmery for day time use?

Hi, it is not too shimmery for day! Go to a Sephora or benefit counter and test for yourself. It’s a subtle highlighting shine, fabulous!
