Every summer my oil glands go into overdrive like it's 1983 (when I was 13) and I end up with hideous blackheads from blocked pores. I've learned not to squeeze them (It is tempting but you end up with even bigger pores so please please stay away from your 8X magnifying mirror!) Instead, I got a product from Somme Institute called Transport Pads which promises to unclog pores and give skin a tight and smooth texture. Pretty hefty claims but I gave it a whirl 3 weeks ago and my pores are almost invisible. I am absolutely shocked but so excited. My pores usually get really clogged when I travel but 8 days in LA so far and still looking great! It is made of glycolic acid with extracts of chamomile, aloe, jasmine and green tea. The gentle exfoliation will keep your skin luminous, I promise. $58 At Drugstore.com (there are enough to last 2-3 months). You will love it!
Ingredients: Water, Glycolic Acid, Polysorbate 20, Green Tea Extract, Ethoxydiglycol, Ammonium Glycolate, Molecular Dispersion Technology (MDT5), Panthenol, Chamomile Extract, Aloe Powder, Menthol, Tetrasodium EDTA, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone, Grape Seed Extract, Palma Rosa Extract, Ylang Ylang Extract, Jasmine Extract, Geranium Extract, Lavender Extract, Marigold Extract, Galbanum Extract

This is why I don't have a 8x mirror; too depressing.
The only way that I get this product shipped to London is to pay $33 in shipping, which strikes me as a lot for a product that only cost $58 in the first place. Are they still worth it for that price? Otherwise, I shall just have to wait for my next trip to the US.
Do you need to have completely cleared your face of blackheads before using this, or does it help to clear them up as well as prevent them? I'm not overly zitty, but I do seem to have a minor thing going on on my chin, and I don't want to make it worse. D:
hi there, you do not need to clear out the back heads first. this will help with exfoliating the top layer and eventually clearing your pores.
mq- definitely put this on your shopping list the next time you are in the US.
I brought 20 pads with me in a ziplock baggie, I do not leave home without it! xo
Yay, thanks! Just ordered this, hope it works.
Katey-- give it at least 2-3 weeks! Let me know how you like it!
