Mr. Armani made a huge splash with Beauty Snobs worldwide when he launched Giorgio Armani cosmetics. The line is simply luxurious and understated elegance, just like everything else from Armani Prive. I was obsessed with the lip glosses and lip sticks ever since I discovered the line at Bellagio and love the limited items they offer each season like The Hollywood 2008 collection. There is a glamorous jewel-like lip gloss that you can dangle from your bag as a chic accessory, but pull out discreetly and twist to reveal a mirror and a shimmering beige lip gloss when you need to touch up. I don’t care what Ms. Landers says, pulling out a giant sparkling compact in the middle of dinner is tacky and rude! But a small twist of this jewel, a quick swipe across the lips, and a peek in to the top mirror, is completely acceptable. $125 at Armani Cosmetics.
