Karin Herzog Oxygen Skincare: Three Days to New Skin

karinherzog.jpg
I was given samples of a Swiss oxygenating skincare line called Karin Herzog recently and am amazed at the results I see in mere days. It's been a cult classic in Europe for years and available in the US for the first time. I was told Karin Herzog skincare was the first of its kind and holds the international patent for stabilizing pure oxygen in a cream or emulsion. Its products normalize the skin, promote healing and accelerate cell regeneration, balance combination skins, minimize pores, detoxify and kill bacteria, hydrate and diminish lines and wrinkles, and desensitize even the most delicate of skins. The line was developed by Karin's husband, Dr. Paul Herzog, Doctor Honoris Causa of the Nobel Institute. To be honest I thought all of this sounded too good to be true but I was in the mood to change up my nightly routine so I decided to try it for a few days.

Vita-Kombi Fruit Acids with AHA
I started with the Vita-Kombi Fruit Acids with AHA and retinol, it felt dry and strange and wouldn't massage into my skin. The next day I read the instructions and it said NOT to massage it into your skin (duh! mental note to self, read instructions BEFORE testing new products out). So I tried it again that evening, this time just applying and letting it sit on my skin for a few minutes before putting on the Sweet Night Cream. I was not so crazy about its texture either but dutifully continued this routine for three days. At the end of my experiment I noticed a HUGE difference in my skin. I think it's from the Vita-Kombi Fruit Acids, they call it a facial peel in a tube but I think it's more like baby skin in a tube. Generally I am sensitive to acids but this product was so gentle I forgot it had AHA and retinol in it!

I also got little packets of samples of the scrub and other moisturizers but hands down, the Vita-Kombi is the MUST HAVE from the line. $60 at Karin Herzog USA. Go try it and tell me if you receive the same glow and new baby soft skin after a few days!

This will not replace my Natura Bisse Glyco Extreme but it's nice to change up the routine so my skin does not get complacent. I'll keep it for those days!
