Once again, the best hair looks on the runway came from Orlando Pita, fashion hair guru to shows such as Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Doo Ri, YSL, Michael Kors, Valentino, Gucci, Dior and many others. Orlando partnered with T3 at Carolina Herrera and Doo Ri for the following glamorous looks:

carolinahair08.jpgCarolina Herrera, the look & inspiration - Backstage at Carolina, Orlando created a fresh take on the half up, half down do (when I interviewed him last year, he told me this is one of his favorite looks!). With such a regal, sophisticated collection using bold hues like chartreuse, and equally amazing accessories to match, Orlando’s hair complimented the collection with an experts touch. “I wanted to keep the focus on Carolina’s collection but at the same time, not ignore her desire for a polished look. I am inspired by the imagination of the clothes – the soft flow and texture of the fabrics. Hair was shiny and smooth to compliment that.” Orlando sectioned the hair into two parts, brought only pieces from the sides and secured with a band. To finish the look, he wrapped a strand of hair around the band. Some models wore long and flowing scarves, attached at the ponytail and other adorned fedoras with exaggerated feathers.

How to create the look-
Carolina’s simple half-do:
˚ Blow dry hair with T3 360˚ Plump and separate hair into two sections.
˚ Take the sides of the hair, leaving the center, and pull back.
˚ Secure with ponytail holder. Wrap a strand of hair around the band to cover and secure it with a pin.
˚ Smooth remaining hair with T3 360˚ Boost. Tame flyaways with T3 360˚ Polish.

Products to get the look:
T3 360˚ Boost, Plump and Polish
