I recently received a package from Become Beauty, a new line of products tested and developed in the world's harshest environment, Australia. (Did you know 90% of Australia is dry and flat and over 75% can not support agriculture in any form?) I have always considered the climate in Texas harsh and difficult on the skin as well (it was 78 degrees today and a mere 2 days ago was 28 degrees)- to say my skin has changed drastically since moving here would be an understatement! I was excited to try the new line out and finally found time after the Christmas craze to indulge.
I tested the Body Toner Moisturizer first and though it was a bit too light for me (I like a thick luxurious cream but hate how it leave marks on my clothes) I liked how it absorbed in the skin immediately and left my skin feeling smooth and toned. $39
The Face Smoothing Gel is a fab alternative to your usual scrub in the harsh months of winter. Made of moisturizing jojoba beads that polish rather than scratch, my husband's flaky skin improved dramatically after using this for 2 weeks! $29
I also gave the Night Cream a whirl and liked the way my skin felt the next morning, smooth and taut. It also brightens the skin from real pearl extract, nothing like facing the New Year with shiny and line-free skin! $64
