Elizabeth Arden Prevage

If you thought my body was in bad shape after all the traveling, wait til you hear about my face. I have always had great skin, the kind of skin that’d cause strangers to stop and comment upon. But a week of sleepless nights (my son got sick on the first night of our trip) followed by another week of being sick myself took it’s toll on my skin. On my flight home I flipped through a magazine and noticed a new product from Elizabeth Arden that addresses problematic sleep. Without a full sleep cycle, our skin’s ability to fight premature aging is compromised, leading to fine lines and wrinkles (check), uneven skin tone (check) and dull dry tired-looking skin (check).

I was going to do my usual routine but this cream so intrigued me I decided to try it out. I got the PREVAGE anti-aging night cream ($125) with encapsulated and time-released Idebenone, mega complex A and a blend of high performance moisturizers. So how does it work? Tony Vargas, VP of R & D for Elizabeth Arden explains: “Children grow when they sleep, and they need a full eight hours or more for this to be effective. For adults, the sleep cycle is the time when skin naturally repairs damage from environmental assaults during the day, and adequate sleep is essential to healthy-looking skin. PREVAGE anti-agin night cream is formulated to optimize this process. It is a true dream cream for skin”.

So does it really work? I tried it for a few nights and my skin is looking more like it’s former glorious self though it’s not perfect yet. (I have a super duper magnifying mirror -Kelly says it’s scary to look in it but I depend on it to tell me if there are any imperfections- and I see every single line.) The cream feels great on the skin and instantly nourishes. I also like the one touch dispensing function (to keep your cream bacteria free), there is a lid on the inside with a small opening that squeezes out one application each time so you won’t use too much or too little. This is a great gift for the sleep deprived girl in your life (whether from working or partying – this will help!). $125 at department stores or Elizabeth Arden online store here. Order now for a free deluxe mini anti aging treatment!

I have started using a few EA products ever since Blogdorf Goodman recommended an EA pressed powder, and I received some samples in the GWP promotion. I have been very pleased with many of their items and was wondering about this after seeing the huge ad campaign. Thanks.

I wish more products had the one-touch dispensing function.

Beauty Snob is Right. Proof is in the results. This Prevage Night cream ACTUALLY WORKS. I have been using it for 2 weeks now. The results have been so good, that not only I noticed but my usually oblivious MAN noticed. (which now qualifies it as a miracle cream.)

I had pretty skin to start with , but people keep asking what I have done differently. I went back and bought the other Prevage pieces to see what they can do together! I heard they have even more kick.

I underestimated this icon of the cosmo world. They have won me over now with results. If you haven’t been to one of their counters lately give them a try. You won’t be disappointed, this is soooo not your granny’s moisturizer!
