A reader shared her fabulous discovery on a recent trip to Dubai with me, Parfums M. Micallef. She said they were "All hand made perfumes in hand made bottles painted with 24 ct gold and/or embedded with Swarovski stones....And that's only the outside..... the fragrances even outsell Chanel and Dior. The scents last long on the skin and develop beautifully." She also said that the perfume is not available stateside, mostly because the owners are not eager to expand, yet.
Of course that got my attention immediately, I checked their website and am now dying to experience the scents! There are many to choose from, Le 4 Saisons, Les Exclusifs, Les Notes and Ananda. They also offer lavish crystal flacons which may be filled with all the fragrances from the various Micallef collections and, if required, decorated with special motifs, such as portraits, names, etc. You can also put other favorite perfumes in these unique 3 liter flacons. I love all of them! Would love to get my hands on one of each. Those of you who live in Cannes, Paris, London or Dubai, go check out their store! Go to Parfums M. Micallef.

Lovely! I would love to have this on my nightstand!
I live in Dubai, Tina! It's so great to see this wonderful city getting recognition worldwide! The bottles are divine and the perfumes smell delish, the only problem is that they've collaborated with Paris Gallery, which in itself has great brands -- but is notorious for being one of the worst customer service retailers in Dubai. The salespeople never know anything, barely speak English, and are quite rude. I always go there to pick up my Creed (it's the only retailer for Creed too), and just help myself to the products and go straight to the counter! It's a shame they didn't upmarket themselves at somewhere like Harvey Nichols!
*drools quietly*
I'm really glad it's a lot easier to convert money online these days, because I feel the urge to splurge!
I was in Dubai last spring... I'm kicking myself for not getting my hands on these scents!
Micallef 4 Saisons used to be at Luckyscent - I think might not have sold well because they were so expensive - they eventually got marked down considerably and then disappeared. I believe people in the US can buy them from first-in-fragrance, a German perfume website (also in english) that ships just about everywhere - I've been eyeing the Note scents!
I've got them! They are amazing. I bought it also in Dubai but have met the owners of the perfume house. I have to agree with H that the service at Paris Gallery was indeed not quite optimal until they showed up...wow...it looked suddenly if a star was coming in. I spoke to them and they even gave me their business card so sometimes I get some e-mails from them and we exchange thoughts and so on. I bought Ananda (because it has the most Swarovski stones with the most adorable fragrance) for approximately US$ 160,- for 100 ml EDP).
First I would like to greet all you BeautySnob’s from Germany!
It is really amazing that also you in US are getting to know Micallef. In Europe they are known as
I recently moved back from Dubai with my parents and know Paris Gallery very well. I was really suprized to see that Micallef is also known in Europe. In Berlin for example the brand is known as the most exclusive brand. I even heard that Martine was interviewed in a popular dutch Television show. I recently even read in an article that she is titled as “the darling of perfumery elite”. My parents bought me the exclusive set of the 4 saisons and I can tell you that not only the bottles are amazing but you can even smell the high quality. It was not cheap but it is absolutely worth every penny.
@ Nan: The mother of one of my girlfriend used to work for Paris Gallery as makeup artist and she told me that the employees are not working for Paris Gallery but fro the brand that they represent. I think that your bad experienced is caused by the creed personnel. By the way, now a days everyone knows that Creed is “passé”. I visited Amsterdam last weekend and you can buy Creed for a bargain (prices like €20-€50)
I agree Louise Creed is so 2001 LMAO . and i have never had issues with paris gallery .
