Update: Congratulations to Whitney for guessing Amy Winehouse. Really, I know she's going through a lot right now and I could forgive messy hair due to distraction, but I'm pretty sure this is intentional!

Whoa! I am really curious how she gets her hair to be this disgusting. Does she add mud, twigs and yesterday's lunch on top of the hair grease from the obvious lack of washing? I don't even think she uses hairspray, it just stands up from the dregs accumulated over time. Who is this popular singer who also should visit a make-over rehab?

With the cold weather firmly taking hold in Boston there’s nothing more I want then to come home and curl up in the comfiest, warmest thing I can find. That’s why I’m totally coveting this Bellora cashmere/wool robe. I live in an older house and with the brutal New England winter it gets cold! I love that this robe has a huge shawl collar that you can sink into. It hits just below the knees so you can count on your whole body being warm. This week WWD reported that Elizabeth Arden had signed a beauty licensing deal with Rocawear, the label that was co-founded by the king of hip-hop Jay-Z. I for one, am completely excited about this! Although I don’t wear much clothing from Rocawear I have a secret crush on Jay-Z and the thought of a boy I have a total crush on making beauty products is almost too much to handle. Beyonce is one lucky girl! If he’s smart (which we all know he is) he’ll sign her up to be the spokesmodel. The first fragrance is set to launch sometime in 2008.

I’m totally a sucker about buying stuff that benefits charity. The way I see it, it’s okay. Even if it’s stuff I don’t need, money has gone to a really good place in the end. Breast Cancer is a disease that has affected my life and family in a huge way so I’m always willing to donate to the cure. I’m not a huge lipstick person but I brought this Tarte Inside Out Vitamin Lipstick. A portion of every tube of Sweet Rose lipstick goes to the Young Survivors Coalition, a program that assists with issues unique to young women with breast cancer. It’s a great cause and a great lipstick. I find that a thin layer of it looks really great with some darker pink lip gloss.
