Alexander McQueen showed a stellar collection for Spring 2008 which even the feathers on models' faces didn't detract from. The collection was an homage to his mentor, Isabella Blow, who discovered him and always wore his clothes and Phlip Treacy hats. I was mesmerized by the delicate chiffon dresses and strong suits, all with amazing handcrafted details. Chanel make up was used as a flawless base for the feathers, transforming the girls to butterflies about to take flight!
