I am loving all the samples from MAC! The latest collection goes back to the basics, Painterly and In-3D is not as scary as the ad campaign makes it look. Sure there were some too bright and too shiny cream shadows, but the majority was really fun to use and very wearable, a swipe of the finger and you're ready to head out the door. The most wearable shades for day:
Blackground - a soft creamy black (to use as eyeliner or if you enjoy looking like Elvira, as eyeshadow)
Painterly - a nude shade to use as a base or to blend with
Indianwood - a bronze-y brown shade that looks neutral on the lid
Fresco rose - an icy pale pink to highlight your lids with or to use as all over color.
For a little night time naughty fun I'd try the Greenstroke - a frosted mint green with gold, very sexy! These paint pots were a lot of fun, almost like finger painting but on your face! The color stays on really well, I actually had trouble washing it off with water and needed eye makeup remover.
I am totally and completely addicted to the In-3D lipglass, if you love the the classic lipglass, you're going to love it in 3-D! It's ultra shiny and ultra glossy, it also made my lips look fuller! I now keep two tubes of it in my make up bag and can't stop applying it.
The two shades I have with me at all times:
Energy - a shimmering nude with gold lights, it is the bomb! I layer this over Optical and it looks amazing.
Lightswitch - a sheer metallic pink with white frost, dab this on the center of your lips and you'll rival Angelina Jolie's smackers.
Painterly Paint pots $16.50, 3-D Lipglass $14 at Mac counters nationwide or at Mac Cosmetics Website.

I just got 2 of the Painterly Paint pots yesterday and they're awesome! Great as a base or alone, and much easier to use than the little tubes of Paint.
